The flexible Intermediate Bulk Container(FIBC) offers advantages for processors of dry bulk products by designing to the specific needs of the customer.
Although usually made of woven polypropylene (tough lightweight material), FIBC uses different fabric and fabric weights depending on the strength and safety factor of the container, Most bags are about the same size as a typical tray grid unit. This allows FIBC shippers and users to use existing in-plant equipment to handle them, such as forklifts, boom cranes or overhead cranes.
